I have a long list of things I plan to do this summer. One of the things on my list (along with watch 15 seasons of TV, read 67834693 books, and spend every single day at the pool) is to try out some new recipes. I don’t have any particular things in mind to cook, but it would be nice to learn a handful of recipes for meals I can cook relatively easily, something I can throw together after a long school day. I will keep you, our lovely readers, up to day on all my kitchen escapades.
Homemade pesto sauce (version 1): Delicious! However, I thought it had too much cheese and not enough oil. My mom, however, like the amount of cheese I used. I used this recipe from the NY Times.
Chick & Veggie Teriyaki Stir Fry (version 1): The first time I made this, I did not cook anything long enough. This time, I took more time to soften my veggies. It was much better! Plus, I love the combination of peppers and onions.
